As we have said before, balloons belong at parties. They are festive pops of color that add to your décor. Balloons are not found in just latex as the different styles are as numerous as the imagination allows. If you can dream it, you can surely find it in a balloon.
This photo is of a shaped Tinkerbelle licensed balloon. The detail is amazing and the shape is so much fun. It looks like Tinkerbelle is actually at your party! The balloon measures 39 inches in height and retails for $7.00. It is a very economical choice to add to your Fairy party décor. Add some coordinating latex balloons and you have a bouquet for the birthday girl.
Perhaps you are having a superhero party for the young man in your life. If so, here is a balloon for you little one. This superman balloon meets the high expectations of the young party guests. It also comes in at a reasonable cost. You can purchase more than one to add to your decorations.
You may choose balloon kits to assemble yourself. There are several on the market. One is a shape balloon of Cinderella’s torso that has a fabric skirt. You assemble the two pieces after inflation and you have a doll. You hold it with the sick that is hidden beneath the skirt.
Other characters such as Winnie the Pooh, Minnie Mouse, Dora the Explorer and Sponge Bob are available to aid in decorating according to your theme. You can mix up your balloon styles and come out just fine. Balloons are very budget friendly and easy to add to any existing decorations. Children also love taking the balloons home after the party.
Another concern with balloons is whether to use helium instead of air. Helium is best when using shaped and Mylar balloons and when creating bouquets. Air is okay for attaching to walls and tables or ceilings. A note of caution is in order for using helium balloons. Allowing children to inhale the helium to make funny voices is highly discouraged. Helium displaces oxygen in the bloodstream. Too much helium can lead to unconsciousness, seizure, stroke, or death. As long as the children are supervised, helium is okay. Just do not leave them alone with a helium-filled balloon.
Whichever manner you choose to use balloons at your birthday party will be okay. You cannot make mistakes with balloons because they are fun and kids love them. Have a go of it and enjoy yourself.
